Yesterday, Elvis, Emma Lee, and Poppa Presley went to the Guggenheim to see the Cai Guo Change exhibit. They’d see the Escorts at the new Seattle Art Museum, but the Chevys in the Guggenheim were impressive. Rarely has Elvis seen a exhibition that conquers the Guge’s strange curvilineature so magnificently. The show closes May 28, so go now.
On the way to Brooklyn, they stopped on 53rd to see the BossMan. The Lever House was on their way back to the train, Elvis stopped to say hello to Tom Sach’s new white-bronze kitty. Inside the Lever was a bunch of bronze batteries and a half pipe. Elvis liked those, too.
In other news, Elvis had a steak last night at Peter Luger. So bring on the blood drive. 37:
